The Hendrix Closes in Olathe, Kansas

Stellar Development has recently closed on the land and secured construction financing for The Hendrix, a 285-unit Class A multifamily community in Olathe, Kansas, part of the Kansas City metro. Construction is now underway across 8 buildings on a 14.86-acre infill site in Johnson County, with completion targeted for 2028.

This closing is the result of years of site selection, underwriting, and planning by our development team. Long before a shovel turns, we look at population growth, employment trends, and housing demand to find sites where the fundamentals support a long-term investment in the community, not just a short-term opportunity.

Johnson County is one of the fastest-growing submarkets in the Kansas City metro. Population growth here is outpacing the broader metro average, more than half of residents hold a bachelor's degree, and average household income runs well above the regional number. That combination of growth, education, and income is what makes a market worth building in for the long term.

This one took a team that stuck with it from start to finish.
